Remembering William and Charles Taylor
The brothers were active as uilleann pipemakers from approximately 1872 to 1891. William, also known as Willie or Billy, was a musician as well as a maker; Charles was also known as Charlie. Their redesigned instruments offered a powerful voice that influenced Irish piping in America.

The organisers reported on February 4, 2026, that funds sufficient to purchase the tombstone had been raised. Further contributions are intended to support the dedication and memorial weekend. Visit the Taylor Brothers Memorial Project for current fundraising information and contact details.
