Birnam and Dunkeld, Scotland
The 2026 Lowland and Border Pipers’ Society Collogue takes place in Birnam and Dunkeld, November 20–22. Playing and participation are central to a programme exploring bellows-pipe repertoires, contrasting musical styles and new instruments.
Friday open floor
An informal evening at Duchess Anne begins around 6:30 p.m., with Julian Goodacre as MC. Members are invited to share tunes. The gathering is unlicensed; attendees may bring refreshments, and a simple sandwich buffet will be provided.
Workshops, presentations and concert
Most activities take place at Birnam Arts, a community-owned arts venue with an auditorium, meeting room, studios and catering. Whole-weekend tickets cover both evening events plus workshops and presentations. Individual tickets are offered for Friday’s open floor, Saturday’s workshops and presentations, or Saturday’s concert.
